I missed like 3 pages of sushi talk. I did have unreal sushi once in Sausalito, ridiculously good and some place in Granville island in Vancouver. I think I just have a small mouth. Dentist is always getting mad at me. I gag when those massive pinwheels get put in there. If there were mini sushi’s I’d like it. Sashimi is way better. And you can’t take bites of those wagon wheels because it goes all awry. It’s like o had transcendent sushi once but all I can get is dominos.
Also tartare is unreal. Might go to cassis tonight to have it. Modern Steak isn’t bad either. Oysters from Eric at oyster tribe are ridic. He does whole trays you can take home. He’s an awesome guy too.

This gave a sixty-something unprompted free associating on a random bystander on a train vibes.
Just one loosely connected thought/recollection to the next.
Was the dentist/mouth/gagging stuff necessary to include lol

It’s why I don’t like sushi. This is how my brain works. You don’t have to be a dink about it though.

Years ago I had sushi on Granville Street. Some customers were biting the heads off of live prawns. A bit too fresh for me!

Possibly the only positive about the pandemic was the limiting of the number of people allowed in Costco at one time
It was marvellous

Or, you are watching a softball tournament and park in centre field directly towards home plate and leave your F'ing lights on. Makes batting a lot more challenging.
So frustrating because they are literally there to watch the ball game. And they never clue in that there is a problem, even with everyone on the field waving their arms at them. I won't say it is ALWAYS grandparents, but it is always grandparents.

Despite the very clear "No Waiting" sign, the increasing amount of people who just park and wait in the YYC arrivals terminal pick up zones, blocking all the spots for everyone who does a proper drive-by from the cell phone lot. There used to be fairly good discipline about this, but I've noticed the last few times it's just packed with scofflaws. Wish they started hanging out tickets, or atleast had someone shooing them away.

Yeah, it's borderline unuseable at this point for pickups.
In Paris they had a system that I think would work - there were parkade style gates to enter the drop-off area. You could stay inside the gates for 5 minutes free, after that was $1/minute. If you want to park your giant truck there idling for 30 minutes instead of using the cell phone lot you should have to pay.

Giving away an old secret but it's now on the display screens as you drive in so hardly secret anymore - pick up on the departures level.

Oh ya, went to grab my kid and his girlfriend on Saturday. It was more the people who double parked that really pissed me off. My kid got annoyed at me I embarrassed him in front of his girlfriend when I stopped next to a guy and motioned for him to roll down his window and then said "fataing move you selfish a-hole". Just decided to stop like a c-word and of course had the stupid-ass look on his face like he had no idea he was being an idiot.

It is the shopping cart awareness @ Costco that is the gear grinder. While they line up for the samples they block important cart throughways.

There are many gear grinders at Costco, and most of which are related to the carts. I have no idea why people stop 3 feet inside the doors. I can't begin to understand why an entire family of five needs to go to Costco and understand even less about why they let the kids push the carts.
Overall, it's the pure obliviousness that some people have. Truthfully, I'm envious. It must be amazing to go through life without thinking about other people at all. I can only imagine the freedom of just pushing your cart into someone else's path and completely ignoring that other people are walking there.

My wife and kids were on that section about 45 mins earlier.
Driving on the wrong side of the road on Sarcee between Bow and 17th... like wtf??! It's hard to get in on the wrong side but once you are there is NO WAY you can turn around easy. Stupid effing drunk drivers.
