Seriously doubt Brad will be around that long. He arguably traded almost all their futures and somehow has a worse team now than the one he inherited, despite the fact that all his key players are still in their prime:

Maybe get a Hunt for a Zohorna, and Carpenter for a 5th as well.

Unless the leafs go on a long playoff run (and at this point, they may not even make the playoffs), I think Treliving is done. Last year's trades were the end for him. I don't really blame him for losing Marner (though he wasn't able to retain him either, but it sounded like Marner was not willing to move and was going to UFA regardless).


However, he has moved a lot of assets for nothing that moved the needle. They are down to their last future assets and the team certainly looks like it is about to regress, with a rebuild looking like it is not too far off the horizon.


I bet he gets replaced. The more moves I see him make, the more I am convinced that he is just not a good GM, and the more relieved I become that he is no longer here making decisions.

Go back and read the posts again. man, you just don’t get things. I talked about the Colorado run. You said it was “almost five years ago”. That’s what I was talking about when I said “so 4 years”.

re: Brad, look who his father is. Boston Pizza seems to be making a living from ripping of suckers who will pay too much for smaller portion meals. What makes any of us think the apple doesn't fall from the tree when it comes to how the younger one does business? I'm sure his selling point is he looks for value, and certainly he can find value at the bottom but when he becomes desperate we know he overpays for what he deems all in talent.


I bet he's conversing with the President now saying we can't make a deal under tough circumstances and we'll wait out Conroy to see who breaks first. I hope the Flames just move on, they truly don't have anything to offer as he's already dealt a ton and is probably under pressure to not trade futures until they have to (aka: deadline).

How much would an 8 million dollar a year offence only RW who has 5 points in 19 games cost on the trade market?

The market for a 10 million dollar offence only defence would be interesting to know as well.
