So great.
A microbiologist at U of C told me raw oysters are the most dangerous thing to eat.

I got so Ill in Seattle on Raw Oysters I nearly had to miss the Seahawks game the next day.

I used to love them, but never again.

Sea Cucumber is the most revolting thing to come from the sea to eat, and it can't be close. I'm allergic to almost all fish/shellfish, so it spares me the horror, but I did have the misfortune of trying sea cucumber years ago, and it's just vile.

There used to be a restaurant in the space that The Wednesday Room now occupies.

They did a bolognese dish that came with a rare egg yolk on top. You mixed in and it was so good.

Is there a risk associated to burrata?

I love oysters, but once got them in PCB without thinking of the source too hard and oh nellie let me tell you, I probably won't be eating a gulf oyster ever again.

PEI, Bay of Fundy, or Pacific for me!

So because of my shellfish allergy I've sworn off most seafood. But I did start eating fish of late. But now I'm like what's the point.

Me: "Cod tastes like nothing".
White people: "Yeah, that's why we like it!"

Me: "Salmon tastes like chicken"
Asians: "Yeah, that's why we like it!"

Tuna and halibut at least have some character.

Cod tastes like cod and salmon tastes like salmon. What are we talking about here?

Cod is very, very mild. Like too mild. And I thought chicken breast was mild.
Salmon is like slightly fishy chicken.

Salmon tastes nothing like chicken, in terms of flavour OR texture, and to go back to my earlier post, if they taste the same to you, you're really missing out because salmon is god damned delicious when cooked properly.

Or hell, prepared properly; I like a lot of sashimi but good salmon is up there.

Salmon tastes like chicken ? What in the …..

And Halibut at least has character ? Halibut is one of the least fishy fishes there is and basically is butter and whatever aromatics you add

I am genuinely curious how you cook your fish haha

Halibut was how we tricked our boys to eat fish, thinking it was battered chicken.
