Anyone remember the story that they had Wayne Gretzky teaching Rob Lowe how to skate during Youngblood?
I wonder if they were the same people who hired Nolan Ryan to teach Ray Liotta how to play center field for Field of Dreams.

I remember "He Shoots, He Scores" being really bad (and badly dubbed into English) but it was a Frenchy thing so there were boobies in it.

You're thinking of "He Shoots, He Scores." The team was the Nationals and they interspersed Nordiques game footage in it yet had a knockoff logo for the Nationales(?).

"Lance et Compte" was an excellent series... a serious look at the world BEHIND hockey. "The Next Generation" when Pierre Lambert becomes a GM was just stupid.

Mallrats.....because they had Jason Lee playin NHL 94 for Sega Genesis in it. No, not a hockey movie, but a very cool hockey reference in a movie.

Along the same lines we can include Clerks purely for the wicked rooftop hockey game.

Or how when Gordon Bombay "sells out", he starts slicking his hair back and wearing suits. I'm pretty sure there was. They were hockey playing alien ducks. They saved the world by winning hockey games.
