That's actually how I feel. I am starting to get tired of Facebook and all of their add-ons.

Facebook is useful but all these new add-ons suck (except for the map).

I had an account but I deleted it. I never really got why it was so popular.

Because its a great way to stay in contact with friends that may have moved or you lost contact with after school.
I find it great for my friends and family that live all around the world, its the only way I would stay in touch.

Can't stand the site. Hated it even more since it ruined a friend's marriage.

Indeed. I find it fills a niche of convenience between e-mail and MSN while allowing users to express their personalities as much or as little as they want but with greater privacy than Myspace.

Without knowing the details, I would imagine it was the information contained on the site rather than the site that ruined the marriage unless of course the husband or wife spent so much time on it that the marriage disintegrated, in which case I still wouldn't put the blame on the site.

I love facebook, but I gotta say that I'm getting tired of some of the applications. Some people just have so many, and the majority of the applications are just pure clutter. Also, any application that trys to make you invite all your friends before it lets you do anything is incredibly laaame.

My thoughts exactly. If the relationship was stable to begin with, a website wouldn't get in the middle of it.

Thats why I want to hear the story...I have never heard Facebook break anyone up yet. Just curious if it was from over use or because there was evidence of some wrong doing
