Kevin Fiala scored the winning goal for the Kings with just over eight minutes left in regulation time for the 3-2 Kings victory. Kuemper made 29 saves in the Kings net.
Bedard with three points, Bertuzzi with two points, and the Blackhawks earn two points in the western conference standings with the 5-1 win.

With CHI's win, the playoff teams in the west are all at 18 pts or more.
The current pace is .594 which is 97 pts and the Flames would have to go .659 the rest of the way to get to 97. That's a 108 pt pace, and only 4 teams played the season at a 108 pt pace last year (the 4 division winners)
The Flames are 8 pts out of the playoffs, 16 games into the season (that's hard to do)
We don't have to wait until Thanksgiving, we can stick the fork in them now.

The Canucks have not been buried by an Avalanche yet. It is 2-1 Colorado after twenty minutes. MacKinnon scores both goals and Nichuskin assisted on both. Karlsson has the Canucks goal.

Even when scoring was at it's highest I bet the list is very short for back to back games, I seem to remember Gretzky having 12 once but those days are gone.

Gretzky scored 9 GOALS in 2 games, to hit 50 in 39.
He was sitting at 41 in 37 and the debate was on as to whether he'd hit 50 in 50, and then he did that.
