I'd definitely start Brisset. He put up 20ish or more last 2 weeks, against pretty good defenses, in what should probably be same sort of chase situation. That game has the highest over/under in league this week at 54.5 points, and an implied total of 24+ points for the Cards. You did good with the pick up and trust it, imo

I have JSN and Nabers, but obviously Nabers done for the year. If I can swing it, should I trade my first in a keeper leage for another top WR like Puka, St Brown, etc?

Haven't played enough Keeper, but I'd be concerned with Puka's injury history. Seems like he's banged up every single week. St. Brown is pretty high floor, but the Lions offence has been a bit hit or miss this season. If it's a PPR league that favors both of those guys as they are really high volume.

I think it depends on what type of chance you have to win this year. JSN and Nabors should be be legit WR1's next year and JSN might be the first one off the board. The Rams do have the Lions, Seahawks, and Falcons in Fantasy playoffs so that's a tough final 2 rounds for pass defences. Lions are Rams, Steelers, and Vikings which should be a bit easier for WR's after the first week.

Having Jonathan Taylor on your fantasy team makes up for a lot of otherwise average drafting, suspect roster management and bad sit/start decisions.

I played the team in my league who has Taylor last week. That worked out okay for me. I've played him twice this year...in his two worst weeks so I won both of those matches. I'm not scheduled to play him again and his current owner is 2-8 after this week and will miss the playoffs. Hopefully they bodes well for you.

I don't think I misunderstood. I've had to play against a team that had Taylor twice so far and won both those matches. So thus far I've had crazy good luck against him as I played him in week 4 when he didn't have a great game. That guy foolishly traded him to another team after that, and I played that guy last week. I can't imagine there are too many teams in 12 team leagues who had to play against JT twice..and won both the matchups because nearly every other week he's singlehandedly won the match for the team that has him.

But my voodoo curse against him shouldn't come into play again this year. This league hands out harsh punishments for finishing last, and most people care more about not being last than winning. So the guy who has him now isn't letting him go even though with 8 losses...he's pretty much guaranteed to miss the playoffs.

Unless you had some other horrid injury luck and or matchup luck. If you have Taylor you should have a winning record. He has 3 TD's in 5 of the last 8 games...the two where he had zero..happened when I played his team. That is just dumb luck.

So trade deadline week. Team I'm playing this week just acquired Jonathan Taylor.

I made two deals. Traded CJ Stroud for Cam Ward and Bayshul Tuten. At this point it was hard to see Stroud playing much now that Brissett and Mahomes having had their byes. Figured I'd gamble on Tutin gaining a bigger role. Ward is just insurance as a injury to the other guys pretty much sinks me.

Also dealt D'Andre Swift and DeVota Smith for De'Von Achane and Jaylen Waddell. I have a playoff spot clinched and the other guy is 5-6. So I figure I'll take a better RB1 and the Dolphins opponents in weeks 15 to 17 are better matchups.

Technically not yet...because this guy could trade him before the game starts tomorrow. But if he doesn't this will be the third different manager I've played who has Taylor on his team.

I am playing the guy I made the Achane deal with this week. So the fact that the deal took like 13 projected points from my team and added about 16 for him this week was pretty much my sales pitch. He went from a 21% chance to like 47 after the deal of winning. He got Taylor for Jacobs and Jacoby Meyers which made this week a 50-50.....so I clearly should have been targeting that guy.....

I drafted well in this league for its inception a couple years ago, and also traded away a ton of future draft picks to acquire cmc, saquon and Lamar.

My record though? 7-5.

I was legitimately wondering if I’d lose a game this season. I do have the second most points against in the league, but my team has also only hit its projected score twice all year.

I have NEVER won a fantasy league, finishing runner up 4 times. This is likely my 20-25th season between all my different leagues. If I can’t win the league with this roster, I will never win.

God I hate (love) fantasy football.

Yeah, if you drafted (or own) Bowers...it's not been a very good year outside of week 1, and the blowup vs. Jacksonville.

It's not being talked about much, but Lamar really has struggled at times this season plus the injuries too.

You still have a dangerous team that could win in the playoffs since your top guys are healthy and Lamar has an easy playoff schedule.

My team is pure ass and I'm 10-3, and I have losses by 1.2 and 0.4 points in there. There's a lot of randomness and luck that comes into play. I've played Jonathan Taylor 3 times...I think he combined for maybe 25 total points in 0.5 PPR in those three games. Many other weeks he's above 25 points.

I'll be sooo happy in the first playoff week when my team scores 65 points in a crushing loss to an opponent that I get to pick
