I would be over the moon if the Flsmes drafted a forward who scored 128pts in 150 games as a teenager and then was on pace for 40 goals and 105pts almost 1/5 the way through his 20 year old season.

Do we get a Rick Ball interview on tonight's broadcast sometime?

Lol at calling Bedard a bust already.
I'd take Bedard in a heartbeat.

Don't count on it, because Kuznetsov is likely sitting.
That said, Pachal deserves to stay in the lineup. He has been pretty solid out there. Now that Weegar found his game, I actually want to see Weegar - Pachal, and Hanley - Parekh for a game.

It's tough to tell sometimes because there are people out there that have been calling Bedard a bust or a dissapointment already.

Yes.
But also, Celebrini >>> Bedard, by a lot more than hype would suggest.

What does Coolio have to do to get a start 'round these parts??
Turn the 'Dome into a Gangsta's Paradise?

Bedard is one of the best 20 year old players in the league, and well above average as a first pick in the draft.
Any team getting Mckeena would be happy he turns in a Bedard.
Have you watched him play this season? On pace for over 100 points with no established linemates.

Just at lunch at the Keg downtown. This group comes in and sits next to us. They all have very brand new wranglers/hitmen/flames hats on, speaking another language. So I tell my table these guys have to be a Flames player relative.
After a while they were done eating, I said "go flames" to them, tables were very close. One guy says in french accent (no idea why I didn't pick up on that) he is one of Huberdeau's close friends and they just came from morning skate to eat and going to the game tonight. Super nice guys complete with heavy thicc french accent. Love these interactions with people.

Chicago seems to be falling back down to earth lately, as expected. Will be fun to watch them tonight i think.
As for their rebuild, I remember Toews and Kane both tried to stop the Hawks from rebuilding, no? I am too lazy to check when players started getting shipped out. I am sure Foss will be in here and better able to speak to that than me, but I would be surprised if the Hawks have been rebuilding for 6 years already.
Crappy regular seasons doesn't mean your team is rebuilding.
