If we do this logically we start with seasons.
Summer: Obviously good
Winter: Cold, but at least there are fun things to do
Fall: It's pretty outside, and we get to wear our best/most comfortable outfits
Spring: Sucks, it's muddy, and rainy, and nothing good ever happens.
So that narrows it down to April, May, and June (Maybe march??)
June is basically summer.
May at lest has May long weekend.
April....April sucks.
It's April. April is the worst month.

January, and it's not even close. Coming off the Christmas high, and knowing you have nothing to look forward to for the next couple of months other than crappy year end at work with tons of work, plus dark winter weather with no end in sight till end of Feb. Jan is by far the worst month.

Cold, windy and dry. The only thing that is good about April is that it is followed by May which is one of the better months. Not the greatest but certainly not the worst, that is reserved for March.

I could get on board with March. It really depends on the year.
Spring is the worst season by far, so if we have an early spring, March sucks.
If winter lingers a bit, we get the brunt of spring in April.
I think we can safely say the worst "Month" is the last 2 weeks of March + the first 2 weeks of April.

I’m torn between January and March, but I’m going to go January.
It’s usually quite cold, you’ve just off the holiday high with really nothing to look forward to as it really doesn’t make sense to do a little trip until Feb, many Q1 projects are launching so work is hell as opposed to the relative dead zone that is December. Overall just vibeless, paltry, grave.
March is such a nasty tease, but I guess I can forgive it for that.
March is cool where I’m at. Spring is kicking in; weather is getting nice. Flora is starting to bloom. Birds begin to sing. Rabbits come out to play. Beautiful, musical female voices can be heard at the cottages. The smell of fresh baked pies fill the air.
I'm a bit unsure, but the arguments for January seem to be hitting the hardest. At least February shows a glimmer of hope, being short, and spring around the corner. January drags like The Irishman, with none of the action.

There can be an argument for February
You think it's short, but the kunt of a month comes in with the coldest days.
You think it is going to roll into March and Spring, but that never happens.
Phuck February

Plus the limits for CPP and EI reset so your pay check is smaller right after all the holiday bills come in. Assuming you have maxed CPP and EI for the year of course
