Dinwiddie has established himself as a top head coach in the CFL but I'm not a fan of the dual roles even if Burke is assisting. It hasn't worked out great in Calgary. Ottawa had to do something as they have been on a run of bad coaching hires. On the flip side, maybe the Stamps will be able to beat Ottawa without Dyce. I wonder who the Argos are going to grab out of the CFL head coach recycle bin. As the captain said, the recycling of coaches has been preventing new approaches and ideas in this league and probably kept things more stale than they could be.

John Hodge of 3DownNation lists 14 possible candidates for the Argos head coaching job - On the list are Stamps OC Pat DelMonaco as well as Ti-Cats DC Brent Monson.

Personally, and I think that there should be a CalgaryPuck petition, that we should push for dynamic not so young utterly creative coaches into the CFL . . . like me

Which is why it was mind effing boggling we kept Dickenson when we let everyone else go.... wtf?
We need to be in on the Dinwiddie sweepstakes!

imo Dickenson should be the coach of the year. He gave up play calling so he could be more focused on all aspects of being a HC. Won 11 games, were the better team in BC, in a building year. I know they haven't won in playoffs since their last cup but no one expected them to have the year that they did. I also think the pressure is on for next year though.

Make him GM only, and 500 yards away from the play callers, and make Dinwiddie our new coach.
He is the ultimate old school coach in the CFL.

That would be a homecoming of sorts, right? He was quite the player for the Argos back in the day.

Sounds like Dinwiddie wanted nothing more to do with the Argos...
