Except it was memorable for the officiating. It's like Lakers / Kings 2002 for the NFL. Well, that and the 2018 NFCCG but that was all about one call, XL was the whole game.

No it's not lol. Lakers-Kings is on it's own for officiating. Super Bowl XL was incompetence, Lakers-Kings was criminal malice.

That, and Darnold has a good deep ball; that's all you need with Shaheed. At one point he was clocked as the 2nd fastest player in the league, only behind Tyreek. Also added a lot of muscle in the offseason; he used to look a lot like Olave on the field, but this year there's a noticeable difference in their builds.
He's got the classic 2 catches for 98 yds and a TD type statline, I think he'll do well there.

I didn't anticipate Seattle would be adding a WR. They might also look to use Shaheed in the return game as well. But having Shaheed should make JSN even more dangerous on the short and intermediate routes.

Always nice to have extra weapons out there for Seattle.
Defense is playing excellent and running game looks solid with the two backs.
Of course they have to win and keep all the WR happy with targets.
Kubiak connection obvious so that’s a double shot of confidence in the team, about the offense to allow the first year coordinator to be trusted to add to the team.
And if it means one less boneheaded turnover per game from Darnold, that’d be great too.

The NFL has no plan for a post season that doesn't include the Chiefs. Week 11 and week 17 should see a record number of penalties against the Broncos, probably. Or at least strategic ones. That 60 yard toss to Sutton on 3rd and 12 will come back for offensive holding. There will be no replay available. That kind of stuff. We will see

Yeah there's definitely funny business going on with the league propping up the Chiefs. The biased officiating they receive has been proven by research done at the University of Texas at El Paso. That said this kind of thing happens in all sports propping up teams that are key for viewership. Look at the biased officiating the Red Wings used to receive in when they were in their heyday.

I don't think the Red Wings thing was a league conspiracy or anything though, they just had Scotty Bowman as their coach and a bunch of really good players who were hard to stop without taking a penalty against.

Shaheed doesn't even require that many targets given the routes he runs - like, more than a one-dimensional burner, but we're talking like 4 per game here. Kupp has been satisfied on minimal targets all season, and guys like Horton and Arroyo are rookies who are just happy to be on the field. Meanwhile JSN is still the number 1 and will be targeted accordingly. I don't think it's an issue. Dudes just want to play their role.

Cowboys DE Marshawn Kneeland just passed away, he was only 24, awful. He was their 2nd round pick in 2024.
If you caught the Cowboys-Cardinals MNF game this week, he was the one who recovered the ball in the end zone for a TD after a blocked punt.

Sorry to use a TMZ article, it's the most thorough one I can find. Story taking an even darker turn, he was reportedly fleeing from police officers after refusing to pull over after a traffic violation, leading to the incident. So tragic:

Yeah, that was in the police release.
I don't think there's an issue with using a TMZ article. As unsavory as they can be, they do tend to be very good in their reporting. They won't release something inaccurate.

Awful football game, Broncos sure don't look like a 7-2 team.

The Broncos are 7-2 because they've had an easy schedule that they've still kind of struggled through. The Patriots, Broncos and Steelers would all be home dogs if they drew the Bills, Chiefs, and Ravens in the playoffs.

Thursday night, trap game against a garbage team, come down from another big late win, not surprising it sounds like Denver doesn't look good. Should we expect another 4th quarter flurry from the Broncos?

Raiders blew their chance early on, they should have had at least 17 from the first half. Broncos should be able to get ahead before the 4th, and the Raiders can't find Brock so they have no chance of scoring again.

Honestly I think there is one quality team in all that you mentioned. Weird year.
