Well deserved loss. All on Adams not knowing the clock before halftime. (And a little on Paredes and the guy that fumbled the pint return).

The clock rules in the CFL are dumb - no way two teams should each get multiple drives in the last minute.

Damn. Too much time left for Rourke to work with….disappointing, but seeing where they were last year this has been a big improvement.

I take it you are also in favour of 4 downs, shorter field, goal posts at the back of the end zone, and 11 players on the field? The last two mins is what makes the CFL have such incredible endings.

I’m sure you thought that Kansas City versus Buffalo AFC championship game from a few years ago was just awful football.

The better team lost. Unfortunately it happens sometimes.

Bummer...felt like Stamps deserved to win that one. Happy with the season progression overall, lots to build on.

Another great day of CFL games. People dumping on the league simply aren't watching.

It just wouldn't be the Stamps in the playoffs if they didn't do some stupid #### to hand the game to the other team.

No FG at the end of the first half, missed XP, and the stupid fumble where the guy wanted to be the hero instead of protecting the ball.

Another year, another disappointment for Calgary sports fans.

Oh well, hopefully the Jays can lift my mood tonight.

No - No - Yes - No Opinion.

I like there to be a bit of clock management. Not really necessary in CFL.

A couple of key mistakes really cost them. But I'm pretty proud of how this team battled today and this year. The difference between the team last year and this year is amazing and . . .

We have the youngest team in the league. We have the best running back in the league, a decent QB situation, though Vernon's inconsistency worries me. A young receiving core that is only going to improve, a pretty young O-line that is only going to improve. And the start of a really good pressure defense. The Stamps need to improve on special teams, probably look for a new place kicker, and improve the back side of the O-Line.

You have to really respect what Rourke can do, some of those throws today were just into tiny windows, and he makes it look natural. At the half I said to my buddy about BC "They have so many weapons" and they do. I think they're going to bounce the Riders like a basket ball next week. The Riders need to pray for a foot of snow and 30 below weather.

Great improvement by the Stamps, next year should be exciting.

Need to fire Dickenson into the sun. A few seasons back. No playoff wins since 2018. Making the playoffs and losing is tantamount to missing the playoffs. Dickenson lost the game with his play calling and he cost us 2 grey cups. No playoff wins since 2018. Others have been fired for less. If McNeil or Huff won’t fire DD, clean house and bring someone in who will.

Well, despite the heart-breaking loss, I had a blast at the game today. Will post some pics later.

Bad take. That’s one of the most exciting aspects of the CFL game that makes our game far more exciting than the No Fun League. Those stupid rule changes are the reason I expect to cancel my season tickets after 40 years. I’m done!

My two cents are if you wanted to fire DD after the 5-12-1 in 2024, I would have signed off on it. The team had become very stale with both coaches and players and it was a very unhealthy locker room. Jay McNeil decided to keep DD on board and we saw some long term coaches as well as veteran players leave. Thus, it was the much needed housecleaning that the team needed.

To rebound with a 11-7 record in 2025 with the youngest team in the league while also losing the most man games to injury in the league is pretty darn impressive in my opinion. You can say stats are for losers, but the Stamps dominated the stat sheet yesterday, VA mismanaged the clock at thr end of the first half, a Lions kick-off return for a TD, and a very untimely fumble by Brooks kept BC in the game. You also want to leave as little time as possible for Rourke on the clock because he can move a team down the field quickly as we all saw last night.

TLDR, but I think DD earned another year at the helm of the Stamps. I think the stakes have been raised though and a minimum of one playoff victory is needed in 2026.

While the loss is really disappointing, it was a successful season overall when you consider it was a bit of a retool year. They were the better team yesterday but self inflicted wounds were the difference. I think DD needs to accept some responsibility for the way the 1st half ended as there should have been explicit messaging to VA that the ball is either thrown into the end zone or out of bounds. He should have never been looking short of the goal line. If VA went rogue there, then it's on him but the play call should have been designed to throw the ball end zone only.

The uncomfortable meeting after the season will be DD and his special teams coordinator as IMO special teams was the team's biggest weakness all season. They lacked explosive returns and gave up too many long returns including last night at the worst time. I imagine Craig will be back next season but he needs to run a tighter ship on special teams.

Yes, I think the Stamps greatly exceeded expectations. Mine anyway.
