Most people from Summer 2024 would argue that this is the team we expected to see last season. Now that they are not overachieving, they look a lot like what was expected.

We want a successful rebuild that embraces youth, and energy. Instead we get some of the worst coached hockey we’ve seen as a Flames fan, and all of the bright spots that we do have from a youth perspective benched and relegated to pathetic ice time/roles.
However, this may be the tipping point where they abandon their current, dumb ass methods and maybe we get what it should be next season/later this season.

But they are playing.
Honzek is playing, Gridin got 5 games, Parekh has played 9.
Just giving them spots on the roster is not how you develop kids and push them to be better.

I want a proper rebuild where we play the young players also. Not whatever this is, although I am happy we are losing.
How many young players do we even have playing? Coronato, who looks like his confidence has been shattered by Huska. Wolf, who looks like he is fed up with getting hung out to dry.
Parekh, Zary, Gridin, Kerins, Bruz no where to be found. We are playing all the old crappy vets and the replacement players instead.
