I don’t think they go L, L, L for 7, 8, 9. I bet all we see is a Varsho/Barger swap and otherwise the same as game 6.

I get the argument for putting him 2nd, but I would put him behind (or in front of) Bichette.

Springer
Vladdy
Bichette
Barger
Kirk
Varsho

Or, if you like lefty - righty...

R Springer
L Varsho/Lukes
R Vladdy
L Barger
R Bichette
L Lukes/Varsho
R Kirk
R Clement
L Gimenez

We might see 7 or 8 different pitchers this game, so I like the lefty-righty plan

I also bet we see a return to the white panel hat tonight. Baby blue is out. White jersey/pants incoming.

Any of those 3 should be locked and loaded and take full advantage of the fact that they get another incredibly rare opportunity for the chance to again be a difference maker. Most guys don’t get one chance at playing in a WS, those guys have a second chance to be the WS hero tonight.
Baseball really does feel different in this regard. It feels like for many role players it's rare to get a chance at a World Series. If you're a super star, you'll eventually find your way to the Dodgers (or equivalent) in free agency and will be playing deep into the playoffs every fall.

When this started I was just hoping for a long run, and with back to back game 7's it's been as long as it could have been, but now I'm really rooting for the guys you mentioned. The stars will get their cracks again. For the role players who have helped the Jays become a team greater than the sum of their parts, this might be it.

MLB Network showed a video how hard it would be to wedge that ball in the outfield wall. They had to lift it up and force it in.

Crazy bad luck and probably 999 out of 1000 times it bounces off the wall.

What happened last night was the sports god laughing at me and saying Haha you think a team you cheer for is going to win a championship. Guess again buddy. Felt like such a gut punch

Imagining what today must be like for the uber Jays fans.

If the Flames were looking at Game 7 of the SCF I don’t know how I would get through the day.

Sports are an interesting phenomenon.

I will say this. What an extremely likeable group of players the Jays have. Before the playoffs I think I had heard of 3 or 4 of them.

Really hoping that their dreams come true tonight.

I'm just glad it's Saturday and not a work day.

It’s a lot of filling time
Nervous energy knowing this could be an amazing night or utter heart break
I guess that’s what sports is though

It feels like Canadian teams have a bad track record in pressure situations in professional sports since the last time the Jays won the series back in '93. Not that we want to see the Oilers, Canucks, Habs, Sens, etc win the Cup... but it would be nice to have a Canadian team win in 2025. Dodgers fans must think they're going to win every World Series with Ohtani in the lineup, I really hope the Jays can prove them wrong tonight.
