Barger man, you can’t do that. Not with who was coming up to bat.

That looked like an out relative to field position the moment it left the bat. As a runner you have to know where the fielders are playing.

Ernie needed to relax and Barger needs to smarten up. Zero need for him to take any steps towards third as he sees that ball in the air.

Yah some podcasts were talking that he basically has to do he can warm up. Can’t hit the bullpen while batting I guess?

Can't imagine what goes through Barger's mind if they lose tomorrow. Amazing how quickly someone can go from hero to zero

You just can't do that. That was pounded into me when I was 8. Frack. So annoyed

Doesn’t matter who is up next. That’s a little league error, he saw the ball flight the entire time and the fact that the fielder was getting to it.
He would’ve been in scoring position.

3-2, two runners on and zero outs? I'd say that would have been massive. You could small ball and sacrifice the runner on second in to score to tie the game.

Okay.
It looked like a hit off the bat to me, as it was dropping fast.

There was an article this morning that basically said Ohtani has to start as the pitcher in Game 7, because if he starts as DH only and comes in to pitch later that the Dodgers will lose their DH and Ohtani will either have to pitch it out or play in the field to stay in the game. And the MLB script writers were always setting up Ohtani Game 7 icon game, so it should be a ton of fun.

Absolutely inexcusable from Barger. Inexcusable. He took 5 steps toward third for some stupid reason.

It's a 23% chance to score from 2nd with 2 outs. You have to be in position to score if that ball is on the ground in that situation. It was just a bad break.

Can’t take the bay out of Springers hands there, just so upset we didn’t get to see the potential moment of him uo to bat to win it all.

The rule is if he goes in in relief, when he's done pitching he must come out of game.
So either he starts and can continue to DH or he could close
