I'll be hiding in the dark with the lights off.

I never get kids showing up anyway...

Haven't had kids on my street for years. Guess they don't like us old folks.

All those years I stockpiled Werther's and fun-size Arrowroot Cookies taught me a lesson.

Are you giving out sweaters, jackets and hand warmers so it’s hotter?

Had something like 15-20 kids last year, hoping it's the same this year as we didn't get much candy.

My dad is in town for the weekend so we'll be visiting with him and watching the Jays. Probably driving my daughter to a pub to meet her friends. Maybe I should stay for one, I'm not good at socializing.

Obviously different time zone but you have the right idea, I hope a lot of us will be starting at 530-545

First kid was at 5:18. We thought things might be really early this year because of the Jays game, but so far not too much action.

Sidenote: Kid was dressed as Pikachu, but also in goalie gear. I'm sure I'm too old to get the reference.

My next door neighbor, who is a MAGA piece of $hit who pretends he's tough by rolling around on a motorcycle and smokes cigars (has a massive gut so he just looks stupid instead of tough) has decided it would be a great idea to walk around with a gun strapped to his hip.

right...with a ton of kids running around in the dark, trying to scare or surprise everyone.

What. Could. Possibly. Go. Wrong.

####...I can't wait until he drops dead from a massive coronary.

6:00 used to be the unofficial start - 5:15 is way too early for most people who are barely off work.

This little girl grabbed a huge mitt full of candy. Her buddy did not. Dad chuckles.
And she had to reach up. Wasn’t a by the hip bowl, high up huge mitt full.

I would have sucker punched my kid in the temple if he did that back in the day at that age. I’m laughing about it clearly but that’s what makes this day fun.

Yeah had two girls with just some headband ears at 5:15 but hopefully they start showing up soon. I hope there's a ton I bought two things of candy when they were on sale at Costco so I have way too much, I had like 50+ last year but I've got enough for twice that.
