When you say...'The Original' Trilogy, dost thou mean before Lucas did a dumptruck full of blow and screwed around with them?

I'm not some hardcore purist, I watched the originals in theaters, had the VHS tapes, etc, but I actually do like a decent chunk of the changes made over the years. It's their movie, so they can do what they want with the them, I don't care if they change all the blasters to walkie-talkies, or make Han do a ballroom dance with Chewie, before Greedo shoots 12 shots that miss, yelling "McClunkey" every time. My only want has been that the original movies remain available for those that want them, so this news is great.

The cgi creatures are pretty awful, and the tech didn't age well.

That'd be nice. Haven't seen anything approaching the originals since watching them on the USA Network when I'd visit my family during Christmas holidays in... the USA.

I've never pulled the trigger on 4K77, 4K80, or 4K83. Largely because I'm a physical media hog and never felt like taking the risk on ebay.
