I mean sure, I'd probably play this and enjoy it, but how about a new Halo game?

I enjoyed the first game and will definitely check this out as it's free on gamepass.

It's not often that a game keeps my attention long enough to 100% it achievement wise, but Hades 2 is one (same as the first). Just unlocked the last one with just over 100hrs played. Would be nice to say I completed everything in-game as well, but the legendary and duo boon prophecies are nigh impossible to get unless you are extremely lucky

The typical online megadorks are crying about the story (lol Ninja Gaiden story ok) and that this platinum group had too much to do with making the game. I like it a lot, once you get the speed of the not actually button mashing it plays a bit more like a devil may cry kind of. They added a parry option that's a lifesaver in a lot of fights.

Steep learning curve, fun game, nerds are mad

Mount Fay in Silk Song made me question my abilities to complete the game but I finally made it to the top. Kinda crappy that double jump is locked through a pretty difficult platforming area.

I actually really liked it. It was a nice change of pace from what is a pretty combat heavy game. It was memorable for how unique it is in the grand scheme of the game. I felt like I was playing Celeste for a bit!

I definitely died quite a few times getting to the top so it's not easy, but that didn't make it less enjoyable.

I died fast first time trying Medea aspect, the playstyle is different enough that I couldn't just play and I had to think first. There's a few aspects like that..

Moros I really had difficulty with at first but am getting the hang of it. I think my biggest problem is at 4K I really have trouble seeing my mouse pointer.. most of the time I don't need to see it I can just point and shoot but being able to see it easily would still help. Maybe there's a mod for that, will have to check.

Medea is very easy to get the hang of if you just slide your finger from attack to special. That loads a skull and immediately specials it, which works sort of like a dash. You don't have to use your omegas at all* and don't have to dash much, either. Like I say, Zeus on the special is next to mandatory, and then you can get stuff like double strike before King's Ransom. If you get Arctic Ring as your cast, you can just freeze enemies and "slide" back and forth until they're dead. There are a bunch of other combos available to make it stronger but once you've got Zeus special you're already laughing. I just did a run with it yesterday (red Zeus special level 17), and Typhon was a joke, barely got any attacks off before each phase.

*Even though I say this, if you get Possessed Array, your omega attack launches when you pick up shells and that actually makes the build even more ridiculous as long as you can regen magic enough to keep up. If you have Demeter and Hera in your pool, which is optimal for this build, you can add Weed Killer and Fine Line, which go off for no extra mana cost with Possessed Array. It's honestly a bit broken.

Anyone try Ball X Pit? It's on gamepass and can be best described as a brick breaker/vampire survivor/roguelike.... and so far I'm really enjoying it!

That's impressive, but not as much as that same dude's first clear at max fear, especially the Chronos fight. No idea how he survived

Ha ha ha. So do you just drive a truck from points A to B to C, etc, with the odd pit stop?

How does a trucking simulator work? It can't really be a 1:1 scale can it? Do people actually take a job of moving freight from Fernie to Vancouver and sit and drive a digital truck for 10 hours?

That's what the train sim essentially is, albeit at 300km/h. Some levels are literally a few hours of watching your train move.

Right? Like... you know you could get paid for a more realistic version of this experience?
