Crazy to me that the polymarket % chance of winning for the Dodgers declined from 80% only to 64% after that game. The Jays won convincingly and now don't have to beat Yamamoto to win. Maybe 50/50 still isn't the right number but I think 64/36 is way too lopsided.

Those odds aren't shocking to me considering it's a best of 3 and despite being at home for 2 of them, we still have to play Yamamoto again.

Taking Barger out was still inexcusable last night though. That one extra big bat could have made all the difference, and he's great in the outfield and not slow on base. It just made no sense

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry haven't been this disappointed since they learned that Prince Andrew gets to keep his house.
I'm good with that.

I don't disagree. It's a terrible move looking back at how things played out. But he's making moves based off the game ending in 9 innings. Again, It's still not a great move - but i think there's just way more conversation about the moves that don't work compared to the moves that do work.
We could have a ton of great discussions about all the decisions he's made that have worked out, but that's not the nature of life- we just dwell on the stuff that doesn't work

It could be the fatigue of watching baseball until 1am last night but I’m starting to get a little bit sad realizing that this magical run will end in just a few days. The world is a really ####ty place right now and the Jays have been such a nice distraction. They seem like a wonderful group of guys who have come together to do something spectacular.
I’m going to try to spend the next few days just trying to soak up every minute left in this amazing run - win or lose.

The best part of this run is my wife is actually watching, not just complaining I only watch baseball because hockey’s not on.

Both Blue Jays WS wins were both won in 6 games and sure hope they do it in 6 again.

As I’ve mentioned a few times, he seems good for some brutal decisions to louse up one game of every playoff series he’s managed. Game 3 was hopefully the only one this series.
Roberts was the one who messed up yesterday. Ohtani was done after 6 because after 3 pitches in the 7th, he was out and the Jays had guys at 2nd and 3rd. That bullpen isn’t great and bringing them into the high pressure situation makes it worse. Jays blew it open.

As far as tonight, it’s how does Snell pitch at home. He was good until he wasn’t in Game 1 and he seems to pitch better at home. But yes, he’s a step below Yamamoto who will be in Game 6. That will be a tough one no matter going home with the lead or down.
For better or worse the Jays had hopped on the mistake from Ohtani for Vlad’s HR and then had their big inning in the 7th. It was all that was required but they didn’t get much generated more than that. Hopefully that’s enough confidence though that they can do it again.
Yesavage on the road, the Jays have protected him to this point by having him at home all playoffs and as much as possible in the regular season. He seems unflappable but this is yet another test on the biggest stage in his super short career.

I wonder if our lineup being a bit more fresh helped at all in Game 4 with a good handful of guys out after 9-10 innings in Game 3.
For example, Will Smith was just a shell of a man last night.

Totally agree. It was starting to feel a bit futile watching Jays games at the end of last season, but this has been magical. It feels like no matter how bad things get you never count them out.
I agree it's been amazing either way - if they lose to the Dodgers and their collection of mercenaries then fine, but I'm really glad they made it this far.
