Why would you yank Bassitt?
Is he pitching too well?

I believe in the Jays.

Maybe thinking about saving him for tomorrow too?

Is it possible he can go tomorrow too if needed? If so
I agree with taking him out now

Bassitt should be out there again but I don’t mind him getting taking out so he can 100% be used tomorrow too.

Yeah. No need to wear Bassitt. Play a bum and hope he does well.

He’s out for tomorrow you want him available back in Toronto but he only has 20 today and 8 yesterday so I don’t see why he couldn’t at least start the inning.
Instead you risk not having Varland tomorrow.
Unless Bassit thinks he will be good for an inning tomorrow if he comes out now.

I'm in the camp that doesn't think 5 runs is impossible for the Dodgers.
If Bassitt is dialed in, keep him in. I guess I'm in the minority. Hopefully Varland doesn't drop the ball.

Kirk has been intentionally walked more than Shohei tonight.

The Dodgers are a concerned party, maybe they think he needs to work more on his Cardio?

I think we can trust Varland with a 5 run cushion.
Definitely prefer Bassitt in the BP to assist Yesavage if need be.

He started the 4 run inning with a first pitch solid single vs Ohtani. He’s done his job for tonight at the plate.
