Where ever that is, lol. We're not talking about some new community on the city outskirts.

Umm do you know where bridlewood is lol? I’m not sure if you’re thinking of Brentwood or another inner-city community but Bridlewood is the definition of the outskirts.

I'm joking because it obviously hits a sore spot, but Bridlewood is literally on the outskirts. It's not new though, I'll give you that.

I only know Bridlewood exists because it's the name of the station at the end of the line on the C-Train.

Still, it's north of 22X, so it's not as bad as it could be.

Yeah, outskirts is a technical way to describe it i guess. I mean the city extends so far south now if you go a little more east to mcleod. But yes, its nearly 30 years old, which is why I was surprised to read "where ever that is". I don't travel to the nw or ne that often but Ive definitely heard of every community that is over 20 years old. Not by trying either, just living in a city long enough, it happens.

Like being from the SW, I couldn't imagine reading a pizza place opened in say tuscany (1994 community to bridlewood's 1997) and going "good for them wherever that is!"

Yesh there's tons of communities south of 22x these days, 3 south of bridlewood, east of spruce meadows, and then go a few hundred feet east to mcleod and the city extends all the way to Dewinton now.

How do people that have lived here more than a few years not know the different areas? I'll give it to you if it's like Hotchkiss, Alpine Park or Livingston or something new, but one that's 30 years old?

Best new pizza I've had in a while was Sinatras Pizza, apparently in Killarney. Only ever ordered it, and damn it's good.

Because we like to simplify things in this city and the media doesn't help. "The southwest" is all you're getting. Bridlewood, Mayfair, Winsport, Eau Claire, Signal Hill, Bankview.

Totally the same place apparently so let's just go with "the city's southwest".

People who moved to Dewinton to escape the big city must be pissed. The 4 old people who live there are probably venting at City Hall/the Grain tower right now.

Oh man you should read the Chestermere Facebook group. You'd think that setting off a few fireworks was equivalent to kidnapping firstborn sons.

"Chestermere used to be so small and quiet."

Well yes, and people are free to build and move to wherever they want, so guess what places grow! Sorry you couldn't stop all the non-rich people from moving near your lakeside house.... Of course these are the same people who want to separate from Canada because the government is trying to control you, but they want the government to stop their city from growing or something???

That and loud car exhausts. Mine isn't very loud but I sometimes want to make it louder just to go to Facebook to read the rage.

Or when they put a speed bump in a school zone, holy crap people lost it.

Kind of funny but also depressing maybe they'll eventually move and get replaced with nicer people.
