Vancouver focused on near term holes

I'm not actually worried, what happens happens. One thing that will be interesting is if they're re-visiting Robertson. It'd kinda be that middle ground of moving Andersson (+) to address a need (scoring), that could be part of the long-term future.
I'd just hope that no significant futures would be a part of a move like that.
Coleman (retained) + Andersson (retained) + no 1st or 2nd rounders.
That'd be the quintessential "walking the line" move, which is what Conroy has been doing all along. I'd probably be less excited about that than if it were to have happened in the Summer...because I think the Flames have a once in 40 years opportunity to truly draft at the top, and everything should be geared towards that...but we'll see.
