Default Fence Posts

So, we spent all day digging holes for our fence posts.
We are planning on having 6ft fence tall x 8ft wide fence. We dug our holes using an auger, however there are huge rocks everywhere we dug, so we couldn't use the auger to dig all the way down. Just wondering any suggestions to make this easier for us, and also suggestions on how far our poles need to go. We will be cementing the poles in.
Thanks so much!!

pfft, 6x8....try 1 mile by 4 feet...on topic though, if you can get a tractor in where you are, you can either just push them down with the loader, or get a post-pounder. best way to get things done
