Our PK is abysmal.
The diamond doesn't work when you let them outnumber you down low and play too passive to close down the passing lanes so the puck can't get down low.

Bean has been up and down. He made an awesome play after Kadri lost the puck behind the net, and stopped the pass from going to a wide-open Jet in front (forgot who it was) in the first.
This is what Bean is - up and down. Flames don't have 4 top 4 D. You either stick Bean with Weegar on the top pairing and hope that Weegar carries him, or you put Hanley there - and hope for the same (and it wasn't working). Bean - Parekh is a lot weaker than Hanely - Parekh IMO.
I can't wait for the complaining to increase after Andersson gets traded! OMG, Huska is a moron for playing 'x' in the top 4!! Calgary may have the worst and least experienced defence corps in the entire NHL, and it is about to get worse! It is what it is. I don't understand the "Bean sucks", "Hanley SUcks", etc. Going to be one long season of complaints...

There are options other than Bean in the Flames system.
