Has this ever happened to you?!

Since we are continuing down the Scene+ talk, is the app super janky for anyone else on IOS, and every now and then the card has disappeared from your wallet. Then you have to log in all over again, and it forgets you had set it to Face ID so you have to do it all manually. I usually don't bother at the time and lose out on whatever points the shop would have.

Has this ever happened to you?!

Call me.

I use Klarna for all my loyalty cards (and even there I hate using it). Couldn't imagine doing the multi app thing.

Loyalty cards are way higher on the totem pole than re-useable bags on the GMG scale. Some like the TDX literally do nothing except track you.

I just took a screenshot of the bar code they scan for the Scene card and use that. Then I dont have to make sure the app is open.

I think I installed the app just to get it into the wallet on my phone (iOS) and have never used the app.

Speaking of... the election... any updates on the recounts? Both the mayoral one and the super-close ward?

That's the thing, it randomly disappears from my wallet every now and then. And then I have to log into it all over again and add it to my wallet. Super janky and annoying.

Back to politics though... I thought we'd have the Ward 12 recount done by now too.

The UCP staffers are still digging around the polling stations looking for some Sharp votes that got lost under the tables.

Apparently we should get the Ward 12 recount news pretty soon, saw noon on another site.

17 additional vote difference on a recount is quite a lot. Maybe Danielle's Smith manual process isn't so great?

Headlines of the near future: Ever notice how Mike Jamieson gets lockjaw when Craig Chandler gets a cramp in his hand?

Can't you just scan it into your phones wallet app? I have my scene card in my google wallet and it works flawless.

Now if only I could get a digital version of my CJSW friends card...

The problem isn't when you go grocery shopping that you don't have your bags, it's when you're out doing other things and want to make a quick stop at the grocery store.

At the risk of losing my hippie card, and I'm a guy that's gone as far as sewing the handle back onto a reusable cotton grocery bag, I confess that I miss plastic grocery bags. Under normal conditions I'll use reusable bags, but the plastic bag has a time and a place and we always repurposed them into garbage bags. Now we buy small garbage bags and have definitely accumulated more reusable bags than we need.

I keep a bunch in my truck...So does my wife in her car.

If I am going for 1-2 things I just carry them by hand.

You get used to it after a while.

Are you talking about when you're biking or walking somewhere? Because if they are in your trunk and driving, it doesn't matter. I definitely have not a bag walking/biking many times when I've decided to grab something for sure.

Wait until people discover you can buy reusable bags that fold down to a small square that fits in your pocket. It's the power of human ingenuity at work!

I'm still processing that the Recall Gondek guy somehow won. I'll never forget his idea that "the provincial government helped me with the recall so they'll help me with other things". I'm sure he'll quickly realize that they won't care about him now.
