I’m glad to hear Dexter is getting his #### together. The last time I saw them he was brutal and I quit paying them any attention. He’s a smart dude (obviously, since he has a PhD) and knows how to write a hit song. Unfortunately for me, I hate some of the hits and prefer the deep cuts that are more classic punk.
YouTube added tracking to their URLs so you also remove the part with ?si= and everything after.
I'd put Dexter right up there with worst succesful singers of all time, his voice is horrid, paper thin and nasally. I like Smash but they basically started churning out novelty songs in the vein of Disco Duck. I'd rather listen to Kung Fu Fighting or Tie Me Kangaroo Down.
Rush just announced 17 more dates to their 2026 run, Calgary is absent. Hopefully that changes.
Dec. 01 - Glendale, AZ - Desert Diamond Arena (new date)
Dec. 10 - Edmonton, AB - Rogers Place (new date)
Dec. 15 - Vancouver, BC - Rogers Arena (new date)
Saw Apocalyptica, Lindsey Stirling, and Halestorm last night. Went for Lindsey Stirling and had never heard a single Halestorm song before - holy crap can Lzzy Hale sing. Probably one of the most naturally powerful vocalists I have ever seen live. Great show.
Not the biggest Halestorm fan but they are total pros and Lizzy is an amazing talent. I went to a concert in Spokane to see the opening acts but couldn't deny how good they were live.

I wouldn't think so. Historically tours announce Calgary and Edmonton together.

You never know. there is enough space to fit Calgary in there.
They'll probably look to see what sales are like for Edmonton first.
Still kills me how far in advance ticket sales are before a concert nowadays.
Tickets go on sale in a week and the show isn't until Dec 2026. that's crazy
They'll be 73 years old when the tour gets here. Really could be people's last chance to see them play.
More Rush dates added and it looks like Calgary is getting the shaft, I don't know, maybe it's due to the PA not being able to be flown from the ceiling of the dome.
2nd show added at the garbage dump up north, ugh.

Yeah, that's how the new concert scheduling works. In the old days, if Edmonton or Calgary was in high demand as the only Alberta stop, they'd add the other city as a stop. Then they realized (not just here, the US states have the same thing happen now between major cities) they can just add a second show to the same arena for waaaay cheaper and fans will travel.
Foo’s announcing a stadium tour tomorrow morning. Vancouver and Regina look to be getting shows based off of teasers.
Has anyone gone to the Halloween Howler at the Grey Eagle before? Debating costumes or no costumes, are most people typically dressed up?

Yeah, we went 3 years ago. More people dress in costumes than don't. It was fun.

Took my wife to the Sarah McLachlan concert on the weekend and it was great. Special thanks to the sound guys they did a great job, very clean mix could hear everyone and everything and the volume was perfect on the floor.

They have been hinting at it here for the past week. When i was driving to beer league and the Mosaic sign had FF symbol, it caught my eye immediately and then saw the date for today.
Excited is a massive understatement. They were originally supposed to come here in 2022 and play the Brandt Center, which holds 5k, before the drummer passed. Now they're playing Mosaic, and that will be INSANE.
I already signed up for my presale tickets here, and am taking my 11 year old and wife.

I know, obviously Taylor passing was a massive blow and my tickets being cancelled was the smallest thing in the world at the time. But I was shocked when tickets to a hot selling show and I somehow got row in the second tier, two sections from the stage. We talked about that show weekly through the summer, so ****ing excited. I may get out to Sask or Edmonton.
