While Kimberly “Annie” Davis left her “BOSS” necklace at home, the band frontwoman and CEO still carried that forward on the island. The musician always moved to the beat of her own drum, and she continued to do so on the island, something that immediately isolated her socially. After the first couple of days, it was clear she was on the outside looking in. But if you ask Annie herself, she wasn’t on the outs, but above it all, the “puppet master” of her tribe.

Annie is voted out giving Fuzz and SportsJunky their first hit,

Not the most exciting episode. I still wish they cast more villains/players. We'll see how the season goes but looks like it's full of 'nice players' again.

Tough night for guys from Edmonton

Jake Latimer had family weighing on his mind on Day 6 of Survivor 49. After all, he was missing the birth of his child to come out and play, wanting his dad to see him on the beach before he lost his eyesight for good. Unfortunately, what his dad would end up seeing of his time in the game is equal parts tragic and unfortunate. It was not the snakey gameplay from the competition that took Jake out, but a literal snake itself. He got bitten by a banded sea krait, a highly venomous snake that required immediate medical attention. And, while it seemed like luckily no venom got into his system, the Survivor doctors deemed the conditions too unsafe to put Jake back into the game. Luckily, there was a bit of a silver lining to his sudden departure, as he got to return just in time for his child’s arrival after all.

Jeremiah’s usually-chipper personality withstood a barrage of negativity, as his tribe underwent loss after loss. Going to his third Tribal Council in a row, he was relatively confident, as he and Sophi Balerdi had hatched a plan to blindside Alex Moore with an idol in his pocket. Unfortunately, it was not written in the stars for the astrology lover to continue in the game. Not only did Alex play his idol but, fearing she would get idoled out of the game, Sophi turned on her number one ally, making him the final person culled from Kele before the swap.

Canada takes a hit when both Jake and Jeremiah leave the game giving VANFLAMESFAN EldrickOnIce and Otto-matic their first hit and booting Fuzz off the CP island

After losing every immunity challenge and having one of their members medically evacuated from a venomous snake bite, the disaster tribe of "Survivor 49" finally had their first break.
On the Wednesday, Oct. 15 episode of the reality competition series, the two remaining Kele members, Alex Moore and Sophi Balerdi, received the best news of their "Survivor" lives when host Jeff Probst announced a tribe swap.



Utah airport ramp agent Matt Williams, 52, was voted out in Wednesday night's episode.
Following the tribe swap, Matt and fellow original Hina member Jason Treul found themselves at the bottom after Sophi quickly aligned with the four original Uli members. With the numbers on their side, Savannah Louie, Nate Moore, Rizo Velovic and Jawan Pitts had to decide between voting for Matt or Jason.
Ultimately, the group felt more threatened by Matt because he tried to blindside Nate.

Poor Sophi has never missed a Tribal Council this season, and that didn’t change in this episode, either. Hina went into Tribal Council ready to make the easy choice to vote Jason, the last original Hina member on their team, out. Last week, they sent Matt packing, and Jason knew the target could be on him this week. Still, he didn’t play his Shot in the Dark, and the Uli-strong alliance sent a strong message to the other team that they want a “war” against the old Hina with Jason’s elimination.
Hina’s crime: Chanting their team name a lot.
