Zappa? Brian Eno and Quincy Jones top him for sure.


I do agree about Prince though. Amazing musician. He often doesn't get the respect he deserves because he was so pop focused.

I was listening to the new Tortoise album and it made me go back to "Millions Now Living Will Never Die". It's hard to believe it's almost 30 years old. A nearly perfect record.

I haven't paid much attention to Wintersleep in the last 10 years or so, but this was a great album. I need to check our their recent albums.

Spoon is one of those bands that isn't going to start any new musical trends, but man, they know the formula and nail it every time.

I highly recommend their 2016 album The Great Detachment. One of the best things they’ve ever done IMO.
