That’s your captain leading with that kind of effort in overtime. At this rate, a bottom 3 finish seems almost certain if that’s what we can expect from the guys leading the charge.

He's a cheerleader, nothing more. He has no business being in an NHL game at this stage of his hockey career. Conroy has some big questions to answer, like why he gave this bum an extra two years when he is clearly a major liability?

So tired of our complete lack of scoring ability.

Another questionable Huska coaching move.
But he’s our locked down and extended Huska.

Backlund and Kadri are completely washed. Father time caught up to them.

I think even Backlund would understand why a coach wouldn't pick him for OT these days.
Huska is a different kind of coach though... as in, no idea what he's doing offensively.
Or just an excellent tank commander.

Backlund didn’t break a sweat this game. Never does.
He’s like James Bond. Wears a suit under his uniform. Doesn’t need to shower.

Not sure what Backlund was thinking on that goal but that’s exactly what you want from your tank commander.

It’s not a Huska problem. If your supposed shut down center decides to go chase the puck along with a defenseman 3 on 3 and not realize his man is probably wide open, that’s not coaching, that’s player stupidity.

Huska is who we need coaching if we're to secure that top 3 pick though fr.
Someone who makes all the wrong bench decisions at crucial points in the game.

1 goal and no assists in 8 games, -5. He's on pace for ten points and -50 over the course of the season. We have to pay him nine million dollars total for two seasons of phoning it in AFTER this season. Players don't typically get better as they head into their late thirties, especially guys like him that have already begun to lose their speed.
