Also noting I'm saying this as a married dude with no interest in inserting myself into your life other than to say: it's going to get a metric frick ton worse down there in the near and medium term. You know a lot of Canadians on this site. Relationships are hard, but for the love of god if you've ever clicked on here with one of the single fellas it may not be the worst idea to explore chit chatting with them to see if there's a chance for a big change in your life (and theirs). Like a mutually beneficial arrangement for your own safety and peace of mind and maybe the chance at a new friendship in theirs.
IDK. Crazier things have happened and been done throughout history. I'd imagine most Floridians don't have a direct line to so many Canadians and it works to your favour that this is a predominantly male site. I'm not saying use anybody, but I don't think it would hurt to consider northern partnership options.

The White House said on Tuesday it will submit plans for President Donald Trump's $250 million White House ballroom project to a body that oversees federal building construction, even though demolition work began earlier this week.
That commission is now led by Will Scharf, a White House aide.

The Times says the East Wing is expected to be fully torn down by the weekend to make room for Trump's ballroom for billionaires — despite the fact that Trump pledged the White House would not be touched.
