Should go down to the Tattoo show at the BMO center which ends today. Tons of artists showing off designs and styles, browse through there to see what they have and get some ideas.

Ahh crap, that’s why I got this idea. Went to that food and wine show and the tattoo show was there at the same time. Forgot about that.

I just took my kid. I didn’t realize how many tattoo folks there were. It’s insane. I thought it was a more obscure populous. My 15 year old got to some real life boobs. There had to be 75 people getting tattoos there in various stages of undress or care. Weird creatures there.
I kinda don’t really want a tattoo now.

I got a tattoo when I turned 18. In my mid 30s I started the process of getting it lasered off. Over the next decade I had about 17 laser removals. Was still there, just looked super faded and lame so I left it for a few years. Earlier this year I figured lasers may have gotten better so I took another whack at it. It didn't help one iota. I have like $2500 into getting this thing off me.
Last month I just said fk it and got a tattoo over it. Been way happier with a deliberate tattoo versus the lame faded thing I had for yearrrrrs.
Getting a tattoo isn't that painful, but laser removal is.
That's my tattoo story.

Cost you can ballpark at $200 an hour of actual tattooing time plus a tip. This time can increase depending on size, colouring and shading. To give you a rough estimate I’ve got a 1”x4” colour tattoo that took an hour.
Recommendations for an artist? Well for something small go to a reputable walk in place (boss tattoo inglewood for example) and check out some of the artists work. Most artists post their work on instagram too, do some research here especially if it’s a big ish piece.
Pain, well your mileage may vary. Are you getting elvish lettering tattooed on your O ring because you love lord of the rings? Probably gonna hurt. Bitchin tribal design to look supa fly on the fatty parts of your arm? Only hurts a little bit. I literally fell asleep for an hour and a half while getting part of my bicep done.
I’ve got lots of tattoos so let me know if you want any more info

I thought your wife liked that full back Tasmanian devil in a Hawaiian hula outfit tattoo?

God I hate conflict. Weekend update meeting and someone has screwed up huge, like ridiculous, kill people, destroy the company type bad, but then tries to explain it and makes it way worse. Just watching someone unravel is depressing as hell.

If the terminal parking is sold out for online reservations (for tomorrow) what are the chances I'll be able to park there if I just show up and take a ticket? I have a super early flight out of the international side and wpuld prefer not to get up 15 minutes earlier to park in the economy lot if I dont have to

I recently got into traditional tattoos in a big dumb way. Went from zero a couple years ago to most of my legs and arms being tattoo'd.
Get something you think looks cool. It really doesn't matter what it is. My first tattoo was a sperm whale on my left forearm. Then I added a bunch of fighter jets, some trad flash, and I think my last one was a cool flash panther.
Just get fun tattoos. Who gives a #### about them being meaningful?

For some reason my kid wants a ping pong table and my wife agrees so I guess we are getting a ping pong table. I really don’t want to do the kijiji thing.
Where would one buy one?

Costco, Canadian Tire has one for $250 right now. Probably Amazon. Failing that, we may have a Table Tennis District on third.

Depends on the quality of the table and long term outlook. Something basic and not high quality seems to be what you need.

This one is pretty solid of an option. The fact it's two separate tables means it's potentially useful for other things if the interest in ping pong wanes.
The design is one that is also reasonably desirable, so I think it would be an easy sell in the future for the purposes of beer pong etc. if it comes down to that.

Good opportunity to buy a pool table and get the ping pong table topper.

A ping pong table cant be that expensive can it? Its just a folding table with a little net and a couple of paddles.
