And I believe all of the votes were counted by hand afterwards anyways to double check

It's entirely because he had big giant letters of "your CONSERVATIVE choice".

I mean in the end, we are also the ward that voted for Bill Smith mayor back in the day lol.

I won't judge, before I bought the place we have in Copperfield I came from the ward that keeps re-electing Mclean

What would that recount cost for mayor?

While I agree with FU Stephen Carter, it's grosser how many Craig Chandler and David Parker candidates got elected instead

New words for the English dictionary…

Now just watch them “Farkas” that up!
Don’t worry, the builders already pulled a Gondek.

Don't worry. Some MAGA dude bought Dominion Voting Systems, so I am sure the UCP will bring back the voting machines now that the "kinks" have been worked out...

It is kind of funny that The Calgary Party candidate was beaten by A Better Calgary Party candidate. Why stick with regular, when you can get better.

Sarah should've went with The Best Calgary Party. It would still leave her open to "Better plus infinity" of course, but still....

You truly have to dumb it down for the inbred simpletons who live here.

Nenshi needs to rename the NDP the Wildrose Anti-Liberal Party. WALP

As a Ward 5 resident, I am glad Raj Dhaliwal won. I believe he has done a good job for the community so far.

I am also very glad that Aryan Sadat lost again. Hopefully he never runs again after 4-5? failed attempts.

Nate Schmidt won Ward 8 which was expected.

Farkas winning was a bit surprising to me but Sharp coming a close second was even more surprising. I expected her to be a distant third.

Discuss policy, and people will tend to vote centre-left.

But show them the color blue and people will vote for whatever the #### that color stands for! We're so doomed.
