That season, he also participated in the WJC-20, where he registered 6 points in 6 games, and had 6 points in 7 games in that tournament the year after.
Apparently, there was a spot open on the Rangers this year, but he failed to grab a spot out of camp; he's still quite young though, at 22 years old. Last season, he posted 12 goals and 20 points in 27 AHL games, and had 49 points in 67 AHL games the season prior. On the downside, although he attacks with pace and has improved since he was drafted, he still needs work on his skating.

The good news is that skating can be worked on and improved. Horvat did that and look at him now. What’s NYR looking for?
Surprised to see Tippett on list after signing the big deal. Attitude issues? Will take a kid who will work on deficiencies in his game but has the want. But if they are gonna be an issue in the room, hard pass

Doubtful. They'll just demote Catton, its just odd that they haven't done that yet when he clearly isn't going to draw in.
We talk here about a kid like Gridin who has to play. Same thing there. Whats he's going to learn spending a month in the press box?

I think it's like Rossi and McTavish, relationships get bumpy but only BUF is dumb enough to give up on promising young players.
Mind you, they gave us Frost and he is not a problem player at all, so maybe Tippet can be had from Philly. Do they have another Farabee contract they want to get rid of? A good 26 y/o player acquired now could keep the lights on and give us some thrills now and give Flames the sort of veteran leadership they need in 3-5 years when they are good again.

I think it might be best to see if Buffalo continues to crumble. I’d be keeping an eye on Owen Power. Perfect age, cap hit, and partner for Parekh.
Haven’t seen him on the block, but I think he’d be easier to move than Dahlin (NMC).

Shane Wright was always meant to be a Calgary Flame IMO. Wish they could get him.

There is not a GM in the league that would take ROR over Kadri right now. Not one. You are clueless.

Kadri’s contract ends at 38, AAV of 7M.
O’Reilly’s at 36, AAV of $4.5M.
O’Reilly has 122 points in the last two seasons (161GP)
Kadri has 142 points in the last two season (164GP)
I’d take O’Reilly before Kadri. Father Time.

He obviously means 2019, the year O'Reilly won both the Selke and the Conn Smythe. Is Kadri better than that Ryan O'Reilly.
No need to be an ass about your arguments, either. People are allowed to have different opinion. How many Selke votes did Kadri have last season? Exactly 0.

Kadri vs ROR now was never the discussion anyways. It was Kadri now vs ROR in that playoff series and if they could have the same success, I don’t think Kadri could. ROR played like an actual two way #1C for that entire playoff run. Diss is increasingly becoming the dish it but can’t take it kind of guy. Will insult people and then get mad if he gets any pushback. I knew he’d blow up at my post lol.

Claiming the Kadri of today is better than oreilly of 18/19 is an all time bad take.
Adorning it with fake tough guy bravado and packaging it with self proclaimed hockey authority special insider energy is freaking embarrassing.
You should feel shame. That is all.

That's not what was originally said. If we are cherry picking them take Kadri's SC year with Colorado and what he did in those playoffs. It's still Kadri over ROR every day. And if you don't like my arguments put me in ignore, nobody is forcing you to read my posts.

I was comparing the two originally to now and you moved the goalposts to suit your argument. That is shameful.

No one's forcing you to be a dick, yet somehow you manage. The argument was you can't win a Stanley Cup with a #1 C, and you brought up the Blues, to which the counter-argument is clearly that O'Reilly played at a very high level that entire season, helping the Blues to that Cup.
But go on being miserable.

You know you have no argument when you start with a personal attack. There is an ignore button, use it. Bugger off.

I didn't imply anything, I'm sick of people breaking rules and attacking people to start and nothing happens. That's all this place is most of the time. It's great when you can hide behind a keyboard and call someone a dick.
