A last place club. A building we never win in. A team we have struggled to beat recently. The Vegas "flu".

Personally speaking, I'm SO tired of your posts. Annoying that someone who is a fan can cheer for losses.
There is NO guarantee that a top pick does &^%$ for a team. Look at the Greasers and McDiver ... top pick. Zip. Nada. Nil. Nein. Crap.

The Oilers didn’t have a top pick.
They had 4.

1. Hit the ignore button
2. Do you want a medal for being a better fan?
3. The Oilers have been in the Finals 2 years in a row. How many people on here would be okay with a guarantee of at least 2 finals in the next 10 years for the Flamss.. maybe they win both.

This game has potential to be a train wreck. We’ll see if Huberdeau has an impact.
If he doesn’t I think it’s going to be a long and painful season.
Gut feel is it will be a close game. I think the players are embarrassed and they will be playing for pride. They’ll also be rested for once.

Yup! 10-1 win for the Flames. Book it.
Flames don't lose another game until after TDL, when they start losing like crazy and finish with 94 points, good enough for 15th.
But Gavin McKenna changes his legal name to E=NG at the last minute draft day, the ensuing chaos sees him drop to 15th!
Starting 2027 the Flames win the next 25 Cups until E=NG retires.
Our grandkids wonder what E=NG means, as the city of Edmonton ceases to exist long before his retirement. The great Edmontonian diaspora travel NA like nomads, bringing word of the great Flames of Calgary - sealing their redemption and giving birth to a new religion.

At least with Huberdeau drawing back in we will have someone standing in front of the Vegas net during the PP as long as the injury doesn’t make him play timid the first few games.

Zary back to 4 line C. He has been shuffled between lines and positions and given limited ice time since picking up Frost and Farabee. Bennett 2.0.
This team has too many mediocre players. But hey, rebuilding on the fly totally works. In fact, its the best thing for player development.

When everyone expects a loss, that is when the Flames usually pull off a win.

Sorry, what’s your criticism? We shouldn’t have young mediocre players that because it’s bad for the development of other young mediocre players?
