The new Sloan record is so freakin’ good. Amazing how they continue to churn out great album after great album, even into their 3rd decade as a band. These guys are true power-pop craftsmen.
I’m also really enjoying the new Headstones album. Their classic hard rock crunch is still there, but they take a few interesting detours on this one. Only 9 tracks, but it’s all killer no filler. It’s been a good month for old-school Canadian rock bands.

If anyone is into synthwave, The Midnight just released their latest album, Syndicate, this month. Great tunes, been listening to them for several years... just one catchy tune after another!
sorry also had posted this in the other music adjacent thread, this is so awesome. am seeing Bob in the UK next month, but I would circle back on these may dates if at all possible- haven't seen a show at Webster Hall since Henry Rollins in 1997ish
