Is that creme an actual recommendation or some sort of insult? Because I need something better than whatever doc is giving.
Nah, it's been a life saver for me since I was a kid.

Hydrocortisone valerate topical is used to help relieve redness, itching, swelling, or other discomfort caused by skin conditions. This medicine is a corticosteroid (cortisone-like medicine or steroid).
I always have a couple handy just in case. Talk to your Dr if he hasn't given you a prescription for it. Akso request the tube not the mix the pharmacy does themselves. Less messy.

Your family docs are dumb in this regard, and depending where you need it you may need different doses or you’ll thin your skin. Ask for a dermatologist referral for any long term hydrocortisone use.
Does anyone want to join me in a nice, long lament about baldness?
Actually, baldness hasn't been nearly as bad as I imagined (when I first started worrying about my hairline). I went for the stubble look almost immediately. Women don't seem to mind.
Being tall > all other physical traits. What's the worse? Being short or bald?
They got little baby legs
And they stand so low
You got to pick 'em up
Just to say hello
They got little cars
That got beep, beep, beep
They got little voices
Goin' peep, peep, peep
They got grubby little fingers
And dirty little minds
They're gonna get you every time

Nah man, my family doctor was f'n amazing. Retired last year after decades in the game but one of the best. When he retired he made sure to bring someone else in and didn't just abandon his patients. Yeah I'm aware of the rest of that lol
What in the absolute #### is happening. I found out this morning my in-laws neighbour went for a stroll this morning and was hit and killed by a motor vehicle accident. Her husband retraced her route when she didn’t return, and came upon the scene. Now there is a community bulletin stating roads are closed due to a pedestrian fatality.
I know I bitched about it a while back but holy #### are we just handing out drivers licenses to absolute stupid ####s now? All these rental or lease cars with people who don't give a #### about traffic rules, red lights, illegal u-turns in the middle of a road, stopping and reversing to take an exit they already drove past, driving with two hands on a cell phone instead of the wheel, etc.
Has everybody been concussed and beaten with a bat to the head or are these all new comers or new drivers that just don't give a ####?
And it hasn't even snowed yet (much).

On the topic of bad drivers I don't know what it is but in a relatively short time I have had more close calls being cut-off in my Bronco than I can ever remember in any vehicle over years of ownership. It's crazy how many times over the past three months I have narrowly avoided disaster with people last second cutting in front of me or deciding to change lanes while I'm occupying that space. I've never owned a Jeep or vehicle like this before so not sure it this is bad luck or some phenomenon that happens to owners of vehicles like Jeeps and Broncos.

3 pedestrians dead in 2 days on our roads, but we've chosen to normalize this as business as usual.

I think it all has more to do that people are getting too impatient and frustrated driving around.
You make a city that you basically need a car to get anywhere in any reasonable amount of time.
You start 5,000 construction projects at once, don’t finish any, reduce speed limits arbitrarily, and let construction companies just close off huge swaths of major thoroughfares for no reason and months on end. Pylons literally everywhere.
You don’t fund police enough to enforce traffic properly.
You have an astronomical immigration / population migration rate into your city that can’t keep pace, and the biggest reason of all:
You haven’t really done any enforcement about, or literally anything about, people being on their phones while they drive.

Ubers who insist on dropping me at the door associated with the airline I’m taking even when I tell them I’m going straight to gate. Even when I tell them repeatedly which door I want to get dropped off at because it’s closer to my gate they’re like nope, you get dropped off at your airline door.
• People distracted by devices and cars with giant screens.
• Crazy low standards for getting your license.
• Calgary drivers who were used to easy living (or never that good in the first place) now dealing with more traffic/challenges.
• More Ontario transplants used to driving like a-holes in the big city, bringing habits here.
• New immigrants coming from places where chaotic driving is the norm, bringing habits here.
• Lack of enforcement of the rules.
• Construction everywhere, all the time.
Pick your favorites, but it's pretty much all of the above.
