Dent in Fridge? Nothing a convenient magnet cant cover. If you've got kids you've never had an undented fridge.
HE ALREADY SAID THAT. Mother ####er pay attention!! YOU CAN'T JUST GO AROUND WILLY-NILLY POSTING WHAT OTHERS HAVE SAID!!!
There is ONE person we tolerate that from. To be fair, he has gotten immensely better lately. I will not mention his name here out of respect, but way to go, Dion.
YOU HEAR THAT ACCOUNTANT BOY?!?! RESPECT. Try it out sometime!!
Dear Locke, please see the below. In that clip, you are Vince. I am Matt. The cheque is the post about the dent. I am so sorry. Please forgive me, and I will thank every post you make about your ####ty jobs.
If you are delicate, he uses the word ##########. I don't feel like using the NSFW tag!!

I ended up having the chimney just go to the top of the cabinets but had a piece of colour matched trim around the top of it that matches the cabinets so it doesn't look unfinished. It's... fine.

Fine but not fine enough for a pic? Hmmmm....
I found when I was helping my buddy build his cabin we obsessed over #### that we never even noticed once it was done. I am sure it will be ... fine.
Its been holding water in the brine tank for a while now and when I checked it today the water was exactly at the top and had likely been spilling over (even though the floor was dry).
Its a Pentair model and my youtube sleuthing hasn't directed me to any videos showing the same one and directions on things to check demonstrated on other models don't match up.
Is my best option a plumber... or is there a more appropriate professional? I live 2 miles outside the city limits (towards Priddis) so they frequently want to upcharge me. But i don't have an issue with paying for help.
Anyone have recommendations of a good guy to call (preferably based towards the SW corner of the city)?

Mine does that on occasion, is it flashing any kind of error code on the digital display? When mine does it I have to power cycle the control unit, then manually run a full regeneration cycle and it clears up in 20-30 minutes. My softener is a WaterBoss, but I'm guessing they're all pretty similar in how they function

I my basement i went with DriCore Insul-Armour for the main rec room. In my office, I was happy to use DriCore Certigaurd. The in the laundry area, I didn't use an underlay (it was the first room I did and didn't realize it was an option).
So the transition from rec room to laundry room is 1.5 inches. The rec room to office is 1 inch.
I don't care about the height difference. But need a transition piece to make it look nice.
The floors are different shades of gray, ideally the transition piece is gray.
I'm going batty searching but not quite finding what I need.
Brain trust... help please.

Locally timbertown carries a variety of solid wood transitions. Use those and stain them to match. Might not be a perfect color match but you stated that the pieces are different colors of gray it shouldn’t be a big deal if it’s off slightly.
I’d check with local specialty wood shop/flooring dealer.

We are in the foothills area too and we’ve used titan water systems and aqua mule on the past. Both are owned by solid humans and they might even help you trouble shoot over the phone to start.

I need some countertop work done in kitchen. Currently it is a laminate top on a 1" maple counter. We either want to replace the current laminate or replace the whole counter top with something else e.g. Corian. We've ruled out granite and marble since they are too cold to the touch.
We also want to build a raised counter bar with the same maple finish, topped by the new counter material, including built in power. So it's a bit of a cabinetry project too.
I haven't updated this in a while... we're getting very close on the inside. The deck will be a project for next summer, and I still have a few things like backsplash tile, fireplace surround, blinds, closet shelves, etc etc in addition to rugs for the bedrooms and TVs and things like that. But it's now quite livable as a house.

Looks awesome! I love the reading nook in the living room
Yeah, I want to get some fairly dense foam pillows for that area so it's reasonably easy to lay down there without leaning on the window stools. I may eventually get something custom made for that space but it's 114" long so it's pretty massive; for now I just got those Moes ottomans from a liquidator, which are 38" wide each so it fits.
