BBQ and Grilling megathread

For a while I had one of those cause it fit on the front deck and I was surprised how well it worked for the size.. the other camping type bbq's I've had experience with using all struggled.

I gave it to my sister recently and she also said it works great for her apartment.

For the price I think they're good value for the right usage.

Superstore clearing out summer stuff. They're selling bags of Kingsford charcoal for <$8 for 8 pound bags and <$7 for other brand charcoal.

Kingsford going for $20 for 16 pound bags at other stores, so price is decent.

I also saw some bags of pellets for more than half off but I have no need for charcoal pellets.

Well, I managed to do my first attempt on the rotisserie with a modest 4kg turkey. Turned out super well, except one thing that was weird was the lack of juices that came out. I was hoping to make some gravy but the drip pan I put under was almost empty. Wonder if the flames were too hot and just caused the juices to dry on the skin.

In other news, checked out the Costco in Edmonton and they had pineapples for $2.99 each! Going to try a couple of pineapples next.
