I am satisfied to say that we all hate them equally. Although I am sure there are some marginalized communities that have been more directly impacted than others (trans kids, people with disabilities, etc) who have more fuel for their anger.

As long as we find a way to mobilize our anger against the UCP then we can all help each other stop just being angry and instead work together make Alberta a better place where we do not have to be so angry / disappointed / resentful all of the time.

Also, for anyone not following along on instagram. The back-and-forth between Myke Atkinson and Terry Wong has been hilarious.

For some reason Terry took issue with Myke's newspaper handout and so he did two 1hr livestreams to debunk them. But those livestreams essentially turned into the cohost and Terry endorsing Myke's views and praising how good the comms was for unpacking complex issues.

And then when Myke was like "cool, thanks I guess?" — Terry responded with a ChatGPT generated poem. Even coming from Terry Wong it was... very strange.

I don't have Instagram to see the comments but I watched the summary videos on youtube. They were hilarious. How people can listen to Terry Wong speak and still vote for him is beyond me but guess we live in a place where Sean Chu won more than once.

Ward 1 here, and I'm still undecided. I vowed not to vote along party lines and that should hold true for my mayoral vote but i honestly don't know about the councilor. The independents all seem like complete idiots, nobody stands out. I might have to hold my nose and look for someone who is in a party yet still decent enough to earn my vote.

Mayor I am also still undecided. I really want to find a way to vote for Farkas but I just don't know if he has changed for sure. It's between him an Gondek for me. Could go either way at this point and might be a voting day decision.
