I would think this team would have earned a little more faith than being written off partway through game 1

Man, some of you guys go negative real quick. It’s baseball, even the best teams lose a lot of games.

This is typical playoff baseball. The Jays hitting versus the Yanks was an aberration, like they had multiple hitters having the best series is ALDS history. But they can still grind a win out here. They've been making some good contact, especially Santander.

Meh, Jays got this series once they decide to wake up. I do like Seattle's aggression on the bases though. Love when players steal.

It just really sucks to lose a game that even the Mariners seemed to concede was a likely loss.

That’ll do it I’m sure. Had a team come in on fumes and they just blew it on all fronts.

After so much hype. So much anticipation. This was the likely outcome. A dud of a game. Schneider managed it horribly and now the Jays are down a game.

Be interesting to see how they respond tomorrow.

Dominguez gets a longer leash than Gausman? 2 walks, one out and a single until he gets pulled.

Just not surprised. The group is not very clutch. They try too hard when it matters and they get themselves out.

I don’t expect that to change.

Can really tell who the posters are who are just jumping on the Jays bandwagon

Down by 2 with 2 innings left. "OMG! This is embarrassing! What a brutal loss"

They just haven't been working the count at all tonight and Mariners were throwing lots of strikes.

First inning they were working the pitch counts but lots of quick at bats since then
