Team is not ready. Focus on developing the young players and hopefully high pick to get a real game breaker

We're like 1-12 against Blues over the last few years, therefore I'd like to blame the Blues Curse and absolve the team and coaching staff of all responsibility.

Time to give Coolio a chance in net.

This team is giving up a lot of Grade A chances, sometimes teams do that when they have the faith that in the advent of a mistake their goalie is going to bail them out.

Get Cooley in there and see if that tightens them up.

Not necessarily. Make moves to clean up roster embalances mostly and make room for Gridin and Parekh.

Only underperformer I’d try and get rid of is Sharangovich.

I’m not looking to bring in Toffoli or someone of that vintage. But someone other than Coronato that can shoot a puck into an open net from 2 feet away.

Not really, chances have been pretty low and they have outchanced the other team 2 of 3 games...ironically the two losses

Instead of tightening that defensive sphincter, I think Flames will need adult diapers.

Frost, Zary and Gridin look promising, I guess, but why is Zary playing with Lomberg??? And we have no finishing talent, it seems. Like no bona fide goal scorers. This is the worst and the most worrisome part of it for me. We're up for a gruelling season, I think...
Ditto all this. 2 meh teams playing a meh game. The Lomberg tilt was fun if only for the grins and fist bumps after.

Parekh looked every bit a CHL player. Not that he can’t or won’t adjust.

He nearly scored on the powerplay.

When Huberdeau and Pospisil come back I hope thet run with this lineup.

Huberdeau Kadri Coronato
Gridin Frost Zary
Farabee Backlund Coleman
Lomberg Pospisil Klapka

Sharangovich
Kirkland

Weegar Hanley
Bahl Andersson
Pachal Parekh
Bean

Wolf
Cooley

Sharangovich can rotate into the top 9
Kirkland can rotate into the 4th line
Miromanov gets sent down and goes through waivers

Give Cooley 3 or 4 starts. If they are really bad consider doing the same with Prosvetov or bring in a vet backup.

Not sure what to do when Andersson is traded. Probably depends on where Parekh is at and what we get back in return.
