JayRandom will jump all the way overboard on this one. I have friends like that, too. It's crazy what some have become and what they value and care about in this world. Or more so, what their algorithms have trained them to value and care about.

It's all about having permission to be bigoted. The only challenge is how to make that bigotry acceptable in the mainstream.

For stupid people it's to protect women and children. For anyone with a modicum of intelligence that becomes a problem because any and all of their aruments or so astronimically hypocrital that it becomes laughable.

Guys she was probably born intersex (disorders of sex development) with xy or xxy chromosomes and was declared female at birth and was raised female. Which is why she gets to be the Olympics. She probably had no idea she was had a Y chromosome until she was tested by IBA and they disqualified her, but the Olympics did not.

Born a woman, raised a woman, confirmed to be a woman by the doctors and scientists that have actually examined her. Suggestions that she’s “transgender” or “biologically male” ain’t “the truth.”

I think it's pretty obvious at this point that she was born with differences of sex, but "transgender" and "differences of sex" are two different issues and should be discussed separately.

While male-to-female transgender athletes shouldn't be able to compete in women's sports, the case is much less clear for someone who was born with "differences of sex", name female at birth and has identified as female all their life. Sporting bodies will need to get a handle on this and the outcome will be different based on each sport. Combat and contact sports will obviously need to be treated differently than non-contact sports.

For now, the World Boxing, which replaces the IBA requires that athletes will need to undergo a PCR test and "If only a pair of XX chromosomes are found, or a DSD in which androgenization does not occur, the athlete will be considered eligible to compete in the female category."

So transgender athletes aren't eligible (and they never have been), while treatment of DSD athletes is being adjusted to protect binary female athletes.

As it stands now, Imane Khelif has not done testing so is barred from competing in world boxing and future Olympics competitions.

I've seen reports of the boxers trainer/manager, family saying "born a woman, raised a woman" etc., but I haven't seen anywhere that indicates a doctor confirms the boxer is a woman, as you suggest. Not saying it didn't happen, I've just never seen that. Perhaps you can send a link or something to back this claim.

Also interesting you mention "testosterone issues". I imagine this is in reference to the reported male levels of testosterone found in testing?
