The Broncos kicked off camp by announcing that Terrell Davis will be inducted into the Broncos Ring of Fame when the Broncos host the Jaguars on September 23rd.
One of my all time favorite players....probably not a nicer guy ever donned a Broncos jersey.
Let's get it on!

Revis isn't signed and Kendall has shown up but apparently a "mix up" had him in the rookie dorm...

Apparently from the Titans camp Young is looking very good. Eric Moulds is catching well, and I also heard the Titans have interest in Simeon Rice but would obviously have to pass the physical sometime next week.

Go Broncos!!!!
This season rests on how fast Jay Cutler can get into it. He looked OK in the last bunch (5?) games he started at the end of last season but he's going to have to continue improving if the Broncos are going to make the playoffs in a stacked AFC. I think he'll be a pretty good QB and a legit starter in the 2nd half of the season, so it's all about the 1st half.
AFC will continue to dominate and NFC will continue to be almost 2nd rate football. Can't wait.

Bah, I don't know why the Vikes didn't get Moulds to a cheap one-year deal. Our WRs are such garbage. At least AP signed!!!!
I'm so VERY excited for the start of the NFL season and will be following camp closely.

I get my Vikes news from another board, where I get pretty nice updates from people in Minnesota. Also the St. Paul Pioneer Press gives me most of the information I need, but I'm getting the feeling that they have a group of sports writers similar to Dohbiggen and Francis.

I think every town has one or two of those. The KC Star has a writer named Jason Whitlock who is probably the most hated person in Kansas City. But he is the first story I look for on Monday morning.

I think Whitlock is a pretty sharp writer, certainly writes from a different viewpoint than the norm. He has written some great pieces about the importance of the NFL getting rid of the rap/thug culture that has led to a number of the off the field issues. I get most of my Saints info from saintsreport, and new orleans pro football, though now that the Saints are a good club for the first time in forever, the espn's and such are giving much more exposure which is nice.

It's definitely going to be a great season. Being a Texans fan I'm particularly optimistic that the franchise will continue to take the on-field steps necessary to becoming a playoff franchise. This is no doubt the deepest and most talented team they've ever assembled so I'm quite anxious to see whether this team can execute as well as their talent leads me to believe they can.

I really enjoy his stuff. About half the time he will make my blood boil. The other half I think, "he's right". His periodic insistance that the Chiefs give Geoffe George a chance drive me up the wall. But all in all he is a talented writer who isn't scared to share his opinion no matter how unpopular it is. You got to respect that.
