Good god, it’s been 3 games

Based on a quick scan, this thread has been hazardous like the last one

Edit:
Just noticed Bobrovsky is playing the third consecutive game for Florida. Sure it’s 3 games in 5 days not 4 but look how much hockey they’ve played the last 3 years, amiright? Maurice starting off desperate and stupid too I guess

Lol

always curious to see whether those match the eye test. Certainly doesn't for Frost and Farabee. Weegar/Hanley though ... woof.

Impressed by Gridin so far, he just looks totally unfazed. With Parekh, you probably take the good with the bad at this point. The way he walks the line on the PP is a thing of beauty, and points won't be an issue. Just ease him in and he'll be fine.

Not entirely. Otherwise the Flames would have been playing in the post season.

Flames tied the record for most points by a team missing the playoffs, and the Blues had to go on a historic run to beat us out in the last game of the season.

Panthers have played 3 in 5 with no back to backs and no travel.

Not even remotely comparable to 3 in 4 with travel between each game and a matinee game in there.

Yeah it is not that much different. Good god. Travel. Boy those 1 hour flights really grind you down

And just how grueling do you think a hockey game is?

These guys grow up playing tournaments where it’s multiple games a day, they have full practice between game days, and quite honestly you get more work in practice a lot of the time as a goalie because you’re watching the play in the other end

It is flat out silly how delicate you guys think these players are

With all due respect, I will trust Huska’s judgment in consultation with Wolf and Labarbera

Kipper did 3 in 4 all the time with real travel

Regardless of fatigue, if any. More teams will have a book on Wolf now that he is an established goalie. Last year his great play took many teams by surprise. We could see a down year this year from him, but Wolf has always risen to the occasion on every stage he has been on.

I know its early, etc. but I think we're overlooking the fact that thus far Weegar and Andersson have been playing like absolute ass and the rest of the defensive lineup is tweeners and children.

They're giving up insane chances against.

I know there is a lot of Andersson hate, but he was a +1 tonight. Weegar was a -3. People were already calling him to be traded after he missed on that grade A chance he had from Gridin.

I'm not advocating for or against trading him, but despite his +1, they have both been sub-par and they're not going to be getting much in the way of help.

So Wolf is going to get hung out to dry a fair bit.
