I don't think he has much of chance in the GOP anyways, because of all his scandals (I just found out he married and divorced his cousin).
If I was american I'd vote for any democrat except Gore.

Ummm...not sure what making his money has to do with anything, but thats not really what i am wondering about.
The highlighted part....what does that mean and how is Guliani responsible for those deaths exactly?
As for the topic at hand...I have to think based on what I have seen ths far that Obama is the best choice of any of them, followed by Edwards.
Clinton is nothing but an opportunistic power whore IMO. She is the female version of Gore.

Reminds me of a scene from Battlestar Galactica:
"I will not serve under a man who questions my integrity," says Lee Adama, tossing his wings onto the desk.
"And I will not have under my command a man who doesn't have any," says Admiral Adama, scooping the wings up and into his desk drawer.
My choice would be Billary Clinton . . . . . time for a woman to lead everyone around by the nose.
But I do like the thought about Bloomberg though.
Obama may be a great president some day but Hillary really exposed his inexperience and naivety with the gaffe about dealing first hand with propoganda opportunist chumps like Kim Il Jong. Wow. I couldn't believe he said that. So far, the only thing I've seen from Obama is that he's riding on the coattails of one great speech given a couple of years ago. But it's still a great day when a man of colour is being judged by his character rather than the colour of his skin.

RUDY RUDY RUDY - only chance for the Republicans. Any Republican who can win NewYork or California is almost guaranteed to win.
If no Rudy, I likely wouldnt vote. If I had to vote it would probably be for Obama. The thing I dont like about him, is he seems like he would be the president with the stick that would never break no matter what. Bush is a president where if the stick doesnt break he will break it. They need someone who has a stick that bends but can be broke. FDR, Rosevelt, Kennedy, Regan all had that and we havent seen it since.
Both bush's were the same, and Clinton had what I fear to be an Obama type stick, will bend for ever and will never break no matter what. I have had this debate with a few people, I dont think had Clinton still been the president at the time that they would have attacked Afghanistan. There might have been some covert stuff but no coalition or anthing like that.

Bill Richardson is the most well-rounded candidate in my opinion. He is not a lawyer like most of the other contenders. He entered politics to be a public servant and I think he would make a Hell of a president.
Both Clinton and Obama scare the bejeebus out of me.

I would definetly avoid Rudy... he's a scary, scary man.
This basically convinced me.
The Republicans are definelty not going to win this one, the Bush administration has secured that one. Of the Democrats, Hillary seems relatively clueless and lacks any real reason for election other then gender. Obama seems intelligent but comes off as a bit of a ######, especially with his pandering to the "Web 2.0" crowd.
If I were an American, I'd abstain from the vote and apply for Canadian citizenship.
Actually, I'd totally vote for Arnold Schwartzenager if he were running. If only to help the future of Demolition Man come true...

I thought a large part of her campaign was health care? She has been pretty adamant about that for pretty much her whole political career.

What about if a terrorist attack happens like the current administration has been going on about for some time. Does that have an effect on the election?

True enough. I was mostly reacting to the appearence that her main source of support is that she is married to the most effective democratic president in recent history. If the Democrats could, they would elect Bill again.
But as Worth mentioned, it's time for America to dump the aristocracy that's going on and elect some fresh blood.

A humerous commentary on Bloomberg in the New York SUN.
"Don't start printing up the Bloomberg for President bumper stickers quite yet. A Quinnipiac poll out today finds that even in New York City -- where voters know Mr. Bloomberg about as well as they could, and like Mr. Bloomberg about as well as they could (he has 73% job approval) -- 57% say they 'probably' or 'definitely' wouldn't vote for him. Only 34% say they 'probably' or 'definitely' would vote for him.
"Let those numbers sink in as the Bloomberg for president hysteria continues daily. Even in what should be the stronghold of our technocratic, smoking-banning, gay-marriage-supporting, Bermuda-jetting-off-to, trans-fat-meddling mayor, he gets . . . about a third of the vote. This is not a guy who can run a credible national campaign. Not for all the money in the world."

Good point. That may swing it, but I think the democrats will still edge out. The sentiment I read from America is that it is no longer supportive of the War and is extremely distrustful of the Bush administration's assertions that terrorist attacks WILL happen again.
Is there a Republican candidate in the race that is opposed to the war? I should be more up to date on this.

The Republican's best chance of winning the next election would be if they were inept enough to allow another attack to happen. Funny that. The more useless they are at protecting the American people, the better their chance of remaining in power.
I'm no conspiracy theorist, but....

I found a pretty good table here laying out the positions on a 25 issues by a number of candidates.
I kind of agree with Chris Dodd.

Ya given the choice between them and Democrats, they are.
BTW Clinton did a real bang up job in Yugoslavia/Kosovo too... not surprisingly it never gets mentioned...
