Well that makes me feel better about every error I've ever made playing slo-pitch

Yikes though. That poor guy. That’s going to haunt him for a long long time. I hope he’s okay

No way he thought there was 1 out. Pitchers are locked into their innings to an insane degree. He knew every pitch count and out in that inning pitch by pitch. What happened is he locked up when he bobbled it, looked up to home when he picked the ball up and panicked and went there because it's what he saw when he looked up.

If the Cubs can win game 5 the Jays would be the top seed remaining and havr home advantage as long as they stay alive.

Josh Naylor is sneaky deceptive. Knows how to catch teams napping. Kirk is the only guy slower than him and he swipes third to steal a run.

Skubal is a machine.
Blowing 101 by one of the best hitters in the AL.

Surprised to see that graphic up that he's the second slowest player behind Kirk but still got 30(!) STEALS this year. To me that's smart coaching. I think every team needs to bounce around like monkeys to keep pitchers guessing and off their game.

Skubal might break his record of 14Ks and lose. The MLB record is 17.

Pull Kirby in the 6th and first batter cracks a 2 run dinger.

Tigers take the lead. No doubt to me Detroit would be the easier competition. Seattle seems to get hot in the playoffs.

They could have left Kirby in for that.

Why did they even pitch to Carpenter? He's safer on first than throwing him a centre fastball. Speier now blown two games by himself.

Yeah keep it close but Detroit winning would be great. Seattle has horseshoes.
Tigers are a good team of course to get to the playoffs but Skubul is the key. He shouldn’t ow pitch until Game 3 of the LCS and then probably game 6 or 7, and if it’s game 6 he will be worn out on 4 days rest again.

Skubal already at 100 pitches, do they give him another inning?

If the Tigers get through, I guess we'll have to win 4 of the 5 games he doesn't pitch...
Tie game!

Well, they pulled him and now the Mariners have 1st and 2nd with 2 outs
I dunno. If it's me I'm riding Skubal there.
