Almost 4 episodes into Monster, Ed Gein, and frankly it's kinda garbage. The first Monster series was intense, second, interesting, this one a little too artistic with overacting. Charlie Hunnam (sp?) is a good actor and all but it's just an artsy script that's a little odd.
On another note, I binged The Studio last week. Hadn't even heard of it all these months but it was super well done. Best series I've watched in a couple years.

I'm 3 in and its been a bit disappointing thus far. I agree, a little too artistic and not as concerned as telling the story.
I've seen a lot of documentaries about Ed Gein, and while fascinating, that guy was a true psychopath and while interesting he was a real POS.

If you thought this season would have a happy ending, you haven't been paying attention.
It get way weirder. I think I am worse off having watched that.
Finished it. They try early to allude to other killers and movies based on his actions, but it's poorly done in the early episodes. Anyway, interesting in Ep 8 was the ode to Mindhunter through the FBI profilers. I still don't know why they didn't continue the show. Surely it didn't cost that much in comparison.
First official teaser Vince Gilligan’s new show. There’s been a bunch of shorter clips but they were all incomprehensible. Not that this one gives a lot of way either.

I actually had to pause and check to see i wasn't watching a Mindhunter episode for this one. haha.
It was a bit too artsy for my liking, but i did enjoy it.
I wish they'd go back to the ominous story telling they did with Dahmer. I don't like the idea they're pandering with the next one. Go with an actual serial killer, like those in Mindhunter.

Wow - Jack Abbott from Y&R is President!
Looks like they are still in New Mexico.

Slow Horses is just the best. Who would have thought an episode where they are all trapped in their office could be so entertaining. Oldman’s monologue was epic.

Such an incredibly well written show. (Yeah, I know it's based on a book series)
