Hot take: Prosvetov will benefit from a short conditioning stint in the A and take over the backup role, performing just as well if not better than all these goalies that have come through the waiver wire.

I'd wait for Akira Schmid to become available once Vegas signs Carter Hart, and his suspension is over. That is assuming the Flames can wait until Dec 1st. On the flip side it would give Calgary a chance to give both Cooley and Prosvetov a chance to solidify themselves as the backup.
