Some, albeit a minority, absolutely do. There are homes I pass by regularly that are guaranteed to have some random flashing pattern going. Always. It’s as if they’re methodically working through every possible display. As I said- holidays I understand.

When I'm looking into gemstones, the comparables are:
1) Doing christmas lights myself in a really shoddy manner - already shot down in this thread.
2) Pay $500 a year for install and take down.
