Not hanging it on him. But the answer to "what more did he need to do to win" was keep that ball in front of him. I agree with scoring of wild pitch there, and if he had kept it in front it would have been a good block.
He's an elite player (and I'd give him MVP over Judge for sure, primarily because of the value of his defense). Saying the outcome would have been different if he had made an elite defensive play isn't hanging the loss on him.
